Our experience in fiber optics led to our introduction,
by the electrical contractor, to the homeowner and interior designer.
The conversion of this attic space into home theater was underway.
Recessed downlights had been relocated to serve as “cleaning” mode illumination.
gldDSi recommended removing these lights in favor of dimmed, adjustable
accent lights at the perimeter of the dropped vaulted ceiling.
These low-voltage lights brought the walls to life by accentuating
the brilliant sheen of the designer’s chosen fabrics.
Concealed behind mouldings, low-voltage strips illuminate ceiling and cabinets.
The faux-painted ceiling is a layered composition,
beautifully framed in warm light.
A branch of fiber routed through the projector lift mechanism completed the starfield.
