Welcome to our “simple” beach house.

Truly a work born of heart, raised by passion, completed by force of will.

gldDSi responded to Owner’s desire for a library by hanging a radiating steel frame within the once empty three-storey tower.  Working closely with the architect, engineer, steel fabricator, millwork and handrail shops, electrician, and plasterers to achieve these spectacular results.

Kitchen features built-in antique hutch, salvaged front door

of the original house, custom banquet with table inlay matching foyer floor.  Nook ceiling completes cylinder of the south tower, formalizing this room-within-room, while concealing the foot-well and plumbing of the master bath.  Two of the eight panels are removable for servicing equipment.  Declared “most elaborate access panel to date.”

The game room bath is an exuberant collection of shapes and materials.

A bluestone counter floats over sculpted copper “dish” face.

The five-piece “flame” mirror is imbedded within a wild mosaic by artist MK Guth.

The toilet/shower is separated from vanity by a metal-grid marble screen.
